Listening, Supporting, Transforming
I believe in the ability of every person to make positive changes in their life. I have been honored to walk alongside many people on that journey. I have spent many years working with those who have experienced childhood trauma and the families who support them. Addressing trauma is hard for everyone in the family. I strive to support not only the individual, but also the immediate family members.
I know not all struggles in life are trauma related. Sometimes we need someone to hold us accountable, process our thoughts and feelings, and be a nonjudgmental listening ear. It is my belief that by providing a safe and supportive space, I can help you to make the changes you desire.
I have 20+ years of professional experience through a wide range of opportunities. I have experience in the areas of intimate partner violence, foster care and adoption, grief and loss, refugee adjustment and resettlement, child abuse and neglect, youth who have sexually offended, and many more. Each opportunity has helped me to grow as a therapist. I consider it a honor to meet with you and discuss your current needs. You really don't need to walk this path alone.
